O come, let us worship the Lord!
Why
Worship?
If the church is the Body of Christ,
then worship is its heartbeat and pulse. In worship we meet God and God meets
us. We are loved, forgiven, empowered and fed. When we gather with brothers and
sisters, friends and strangers, we realize that we are not adrift in the world,
but rather are brought together to support one another, teach one another and
make this world more like the one that is to come.

Mid-Week Worship
Wednesday Nights at 7:15 PM
Held at Morning Star Chapel
Come to the restored and renovated Morning Star Chapel (circa 1905) for an intimate and personal mid-week worship experience. We gather together as a family does: sharing support with one another, finding a safe place in the middle of a busy week, and joining together around the Table to be fed. Each Wednesday night's worship is different from the weeks surrounding it but all services celebrate Holy Communion. Friends, guests and neighbors are always welcome around this table. Please join us!
First Wednesday of the Month - Service of Healing
As people broken by sin
and frail in our humanity, God calls to us with a Gospel of Healing
and Wholeness. We pray for ourselves, those dear to us, and
the world.
Second Wednesday - Service of the Word
The Word of God given in Scripture teaches and reaches out to us every day. We receive the Word and then receive the Word made Flesh, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Third Wednesday - Service of Evening Prayer (Vespers)
The Light of the Word enters the darkness of the world and our hearts. The light of Christ shows that we are not alone at the end of the day.
Fourth Wednesday - Special Musical Offering
Music can preach a sermon without a word and express emotions that are difficult to put to paper. The gift of music reminds us that God speaks in many ways.
Fifth Wednesday - Youth-led Worship
A new perspective and a different way of doings things can help us encounter the Gospel in surprising ways. The youth share their gifts of leadership, song and faith as they lead worship.
