PRESIDENT:
Serves as the Leader of the Congregation and COuncil. His dutioes
include the managment of meetings, and other duties specifically
designated by Council.
VICE PRESIDENT:
Assist the President and assume said duties in his absence.
TREASURER:
Gary Grefrath is the Treasurer. He is responsible for all financial
oversight of the Church. Though not a member of the Council, he is a
member of the Executive team. His term expires in 2013 but can be
extended at the descration of Council.
CHRISTAIN EDUCATION:
Christian education is at the very heart of the church. In the educational
process the Spirit of God encounters people of all ages so that they are
nurtured in faith, grow in knowledge and experience, and are inspired and
empowered to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

EVANGELISM:
Evangelism is the duty of every Christian. Whether you share your faith a
lot or a little, the Lord wants Christians to share the message of the
gospel of Jesus Christ.

FAMILY LIFE:
Seeks to empower families of all shapes and sizes by offering opportunities for education, encouragement, faith-based action, sprituial practices/rituals and caring conversation.

FINANCE:
Shall provide a structured program by which the finical obligations are met
and the effiecent transactions of all monies to the Glory of God.
PROPERTY: Shall see to the maintenance and protection of all property of the congregation, and shall see that the same is kept in good repair.
SOCIAL MINISTRY:
Shall extend Christain compassion and helpfulness to the ill, aged,
orpaned, underpriviledged, imprisioned and in general to persons of all
ages in need of aid in body and soul.

STEWARDSHIP:
Stewardship means “belonging to God" - all that we are and all that we
have comes from God. We are grateful to God for it all, and responsible to
God for how we use it. There is a connection between stewardship and
spirituality: generous giving as a spiritual discipline helps us to grow
in Christ.

TECHNOLOGY:
Shall use technology to enrich ministry to the members of Morning Star and beyond these walls to project and enhance the church's presence
in the community and beyond.

WORSHIP:
Shall see that the services in God's house are conducted regularly and in
accordance with the liturgy of the ELCA. They are responsible for the
recruitment and training of persons to prepare the worship areas for
services. The Music ministry is also managed by this team.

YOUTH:
Provide leadership, mentoring and compassion for all youth of the church and
their guests. Plan and cordinate the activites on local, state and national levels to enrich the youth in their journey to know and love Jesus.
